Where will you go when you die? Heaven or Hell? The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27 “It is appointed unto man to die once and then the judgment.” Acts 17:31 says “He hath appointed a day, in which He will judge the world…” You will be judged by God using His standards – the Ten Commandments.
How will you be judged - Guilty or Innocent?

Why does this billboard exist if this blog is inactive? Two posts over a year?
As you can see the blog does accept comments....
Hi - the billboards have been up for a month - so has the new website.....
Yep I saw it and had to see what it was. I didnt
Think the sign was good but yet ending. Death
Caught my eye. We are all sinners but those who
Stop and repent and ask for forgiveness shal
Be saved.
I saw one of the billboards in a good location in Daytona Beach. I am suprised that there are not more posts. Everyone knows they will die someday. Most people think the standard that Christians claim that God has set is to strict to be true. We are all dead in our sin and only God himself can convince us of this. I pray this site will cause some people to search out the truth. Thanks.
If you want real conversation to start, stop censoring your comments.
If you went to court after running someone over, do you think you could just apologize? Maybe promise never to do it again?
We are not censoring any comments as long as they meet the rules.
You are not saying anything important - you are just concerned about gettting comments posted.
The rules that most be followed to post here are undeniable truth that Christians are terrified that they are wrong and do not actually have all of the answers.
@Marc Is the "truth" a faith in Jesus Christ? What definition of truth are you using? (That last question may read derisively, but it was sincere.)
"The purpose of this blog is not to scare people...but that may be a side-effect of reading it. Is that a bad thing? We don’t think so. If a truck is about to run you over, someone should scream in your ear or even tackle you. Don’t you think so?"
How justifiable of an analogy is that?
"What sort of truth are people discussing here? Today there seems to be almost as many ideas of truth as there are people. Does truth depend upon a person's upbringing, outlook or cultural background? As examples, are murder or adultery ever morally justified? If we as people can ever ascertain if there is an absolute truth, one that can always be counted upon as a guide, then we should be safe in knowing what path to follow in our lives, no matter what else sems to be going on around us."
Matthewbtw - What do the comment rules have to do with the idea that Christians are terrified they might be wrong - Just trying to keep the comments civil and respectful.
What if we are right and you are wrong? Unbelievers will face eternity separated from God in a horrible place. If Christians are wrong, then it does not matter - does it?
Nothing in this blog says we have ALL the answers - just the important one. That is Repentance and Faith!
The Bible says “It is appointed unto man to die once and then the judgment.” You will be judged by God using His standards – the Ten Commandments. How many lies have you told? Ever taken anything that was not yours? These are only 2 of the 10 Commandments - according to God’s perfect & Holy standard you are guilty of breaking His Law. God must punish you. The punishment for sinning against God is eternity in Hell. God is "rich in mercy" sent His Son to suffer and die on the cross for guilty sinners. We broke God's Law, but Jesus paid our fine. That means He can legally dismiss our case. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." He rose from the dead and defeated death. Please, confess your sins to God – Repent and put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. God will grant everlasting life to all who trust in Jesus.
@Dennis you pose the question, "What if we are right and you are wrong?" but then proceed to not even attempt to answer it. You circularly use the bible as support, but where is the extra-biblical evidence? How can you be so certain that your God is the God, verses the hundreds of polytheistic and, yes, monotheistic gods of history?
Before you respond, a response to the tune of, "The rock has been moved! The tomb is empty! And, yes, HE is risen!", and an implication that belief-without-evidence, otherwise known as faith, is a virtue will not convince me. If I wanted that, I'd go to church for it.
And I agree to some degree with Matthewbtw. (There's really not a lot of implication towards the illegitimacy of a religion because of the actions of its practitioners, though secularists often make the claim.) I talk with Christians and non-believers alike with frequency, and forums established by believers are often screened to a much, much greater degree than those established by non-believers. I think you would be much happier with this blog if you were to not screen comments.
dfrtbx: Last issue first - We moderate/screen the comments - not censor. Unfortunately, There are people don't adhere to the rather simple policies and use vulgarity and blasphemy. Have your comments been censored?? What's the issue?
As far as extra Biblical evidence, unless you are open to see this extra-Biblical evidence, then it's pointless. For example - look around you - if you believe that the universe and all it's creations arrived out of nothing in a Big Bang, then how can you see God's work in His creation?
Ask yourself - who or what designed all of this? Just go research all of the scientific proofs that there was a Creator.
Many have tried to disprove God and show the Bible is not true. Much to their disappointment, the opposite has been shown.
I pose the question to you - What possible evidence of God's existence would you belive?
I can quote from the Bible, but since you don't believe what it says, then you will not believe it's Truth.
btw - going to church will do little for your unbelief. I can sit in my garage all day and it will not turn me into a car. Same as going to church will not make you a Christian.
I am sorry you are so anti-God. Yes - I said what if I am right about God and what happens right after you die and even this you scoff at. The true reason is that once you admit there is God - then you must realize that you are responisble to Him and in need of forgiveness from Him.
Ask yourself - what sin do I want to keep and spend eternity in Hell because of my pride to humble myself before God.
There is only One God who became man, suffered, died and rose again to defeat death. Can you find me another god who is still alive?
"I thought the logo on your billboard was cool! But I am having a hard time understanding some of the commentary here although that's okay. Generally I learn something whenever I come across one of these sites. I know that blogs are situated around short responses that often lack detail. That seems to be the nature of their format. But it seems to me that on the most basic level, "The rock has been moved!" and "The tomb is empty!" are good indicators of "He is risen!" I'd be interested in reading any added thoughts to this comment.
It seems that any argument that refutes the resurrection of Jesus would hamper a Christian's ability to say that Jesus was more than a man. Because of that, I would guess that the resurrection is key to both a believer's and a non-believer's worldview. In my mind, a good example of this would be like reviewing evidence in court. One jury might convict (support the prosecution) because they accept the evidence that is being put forward as the truth, while another jury might reject the same evidence and not convict the defendant based on what they think is a lack of proof. In writing that, I am reminded of the two O.J. Simpson trials years ago. There were two different cases tried, granted under slightly different standards, but Simpson was found innocent in one and guilty in another.
So I wonder in real life, how much discussion or proof has there been, either Biblical or extra-Biblical/historical that discusses Christ being alive three days after his death by crucifixion? Being raised from the dead would certainly point to the fact that Jesus had a unique nature; that he was God. However, as one person alluded, belief without evidence is faith. In an evidence based exchange, it would be nice if there was more than faith offered as proof. I think some research on that is in order.....
On a different tack I would ask, "Is faith in the resurrection all that Christians have on their side?" or "Is there enough evidence to satisfy an open inquiring mind who would like some evidence or proof?" I think that answer might depend upon both the heart and the mind of the person looking.
I appreciate that the "peg of faith" may not be enough for everyone to hang their eternal destiny hats upon. And the Bible does say that the road that carries true believers is narrow. Fair enough. Christ gave people the option to either subscribe to or disregard what scripture and Biblically directed Christians call the free gift of salvation based upon choice. For some, the resurrection is enough for them to believe, repent and accept Jesus' gift. For others, the resurrection is only a part of the story of Christ's life that convinces them that the message and messenger is/are correct. Still others see the life of Jesus as nice but nothing they would get too excited about.
However, if even the smallest sin matters in God's eyes (and the Bible says that it does,) then the resurrection would offer one proof that man accepting the perfect blood sacrifice of God's only son is part of the plan that He created for man's salvation.
